Do you have lead responsibility for safeguarding children in your Early Years setting or do you deputise for the safeguarding lead? This course will give you in-depth understanding so you can fulfil the legal safeguarding requirements of your role in relation to dealing with concerns about children and ensuring your staff understand their role within this. This course is suitable for new designated safeguarding leads and deputies, PVI Practitioners, School Early Years Teaching Staff. (There is a separate course for childminders).

Includes a CPD session and trainer-the-trainer packs will be provided so that training can be rolled-out to staff back in the setting This meeting is free to Early Years PVI managers and leaders who have Firm Foundations Network Membership 2020-21.
